J.J. Palencar Wins Spectrum Grand Master Award

Art on a Grand Scale artist John Jude Palencar was recently awarded one of the highest honors a science fiction or fantasy illustrator can receive, the Spectrum Grand Master Award. Given each year to a living illustrator whose career spans twenty or more years, the Grand Master Award is a recognition of a lifetime of creativity, excellence, and inspiration. Previous award winners include Frank Frazetta, Alan Lee, and Art On A Grand Scale’s own Kinuko Y. Craft. You can read more about the award and Palencar’s works at the Spectrum Online site.
